NOOSA’S NEWEST DINING EXPERIENCE
CFM Airsystems recently supplied a 6 fan project solution for a Japanese Style Teppanyaki restaurant in Noosa. The main challange of the project was to deliver the required perfomance with minimal noise output.
Site: Sunshine Beach, Noosa
Restaurant Name: YEN Teppanyaki
Cuisine: Japanese Style Teppanyaki and A La Carte
The design inside the restaurant features three island style teppanyaki exhaust hoods, one main kitchen exhaust hood and a toilet ventilation system. As all three island teppanyaki exhausts were in close proximity to each other, we had to make sure that the system was designed to achieve the correct amount of discharge without pulling out too much. With the style of teppanyaki cooking we had to make sure the system was quiet and effective as the patrons are sitting almost directly under the exhaust hoods.
To achieve this on the roof we have roughly;
– 22 l/m of supply air ducting
– 10 l/m of discharge air ducting
– 3 x MCV450-4E with 240v Speed Controller
– 1 x MUC716-D & VSD
– 1 x MCV560-4D & VSD
– 1 x MX150
